It was a great day…
When Covid forced all doors to shut in the Different Arts Centre and the lights went dark for the kids there, many good Samaritans from Portland stepped forward to give them hope. Our show ‘Magic Beyond Barriers’ in December 2020 was an experiment with modest expectations that grew into a movement that would change lives.
The fundraiser event and online show provided a lifeline and changed the perception of DAC.
From performers on a small stage in Thiruvananthapuram, the DAC kids transformed into performing artists with a global audience.
Mr. Gopinath Muthukad is now planning to visit Portland to see the good hearted people face to face and appreciate them personally.
He will also give an update on the progress that has happened in DAC in the last 2 years and the visions/ dreams for the future.
