Dear friends,
It is summer time again! SWORAM has arranged a picnic for the entire Malayalee community and friends in Portland. This is a good opportunity to meet and greet Malayalee families, and enjoy outdoor cooking, fun activities, and games with the community. Please come and join the annual summer picnic on July 9th Saturday, at 11.30am. We have booked two covered shelters (Multnomah A and B) at the Blue Lake Park.
All of you will receive an evite invitation today. Please check your spam folder in case you don’t see it today. Please use the evite link to RSVP by July 7th and select a food item( click on “What to bring” link in the evite) that you will be bringing to the event. We will take care of the marinated chicken and veggies that will be grilled.
There will be games and prizes for all age groups. If you are interested in organizing games and helping, please email sworamportland@gmail.com
Picnic attendance fee is $10 per family and there is a per car parking fee (to be paid at the park entrance) of $5.
